Professionally, my focus has always centered on children, with career transitions in teaching (SDA and public), administrating, consultation, business owner, psychiatric therapist, clinical director, and school psychologist. I became adjunct faculty at Andrews University in 2005, transitioning this past summer to full time special education program coordinator, teaching traditional, on-line, and WEB-CT courses pertaining to exceptional children, special education, and educational/school psychology. I also continue a parallel practice in school psychology (recently retired from Indiana schools and is now affiliated with a Michigan ISD) and believe ongoing clinical experiences bring a fresh awareness of current trends involving development, education, and advocacy of children and their families.
